'19:18 And the judges shall make diligent inquisition: and, behold, if the witness be a false witness, and hath testified falsely against his brother;
19:19 Then shall ye do unto him, as he had thought to have done unto his brother: so shalt thou put the evil away from among you.
19:20 And those which remain shall hear, and fear, and shall henceforth commit no more any such evil among you.' Deuteronomy.
A wise man learns everywhere. He learns every time and from everything that he sees and hears. He learns what to do right and what wrong to avoid.
He learns from the errors or mistakes of others so that he will not have the painful experience they had.
The Scripture verses quoted above speak of the judgment to be melted on a false witness. He is to be brought to book after a thorough investigation that confirms him guilty. He is not to be pitied but to be punished according to what he expected to befall the person he gave a false witness. He evil he thought against another should come over him.
According to the Scriptures, it is the elimination of evil from society. It is intended to make it an evil-free society. It will guarantee peace in it.
The Scriptures concluded that those who hear the judgment given a false witness will create fear in their hearts so that they will not venture to do evil by being a false witness.
Beloved, what is evil has no other name than it is evil. Being a false witness is just one of the evil acts of mankind. Each evil act is punishable by the Lord, Who created all things. He will not spare any evildoer, no matter his status. He gives righteous judgment.
When He does this, it is intended to be a lesson or to be a deterrent to those who hear about it. It is that they may hear and fear.
Beloved Pilgrim, do you know that people of God are better places? The Holy Scriptures contains a lot of Acts of people of old who did wickedly and were punished for their acts. Learn from them. Hear what the Lord says in various forms and ways, especially through the Scriptures that you read, and fear Him. It will be good for your soul. Let what you hear make you fear the Lord your God. It shall be well with you in the name of Jesus Christ. Stay blessed and prepared for the imminent coming of the Lord.
Note: Scriptures quoted are from the King James Version of the Holy Bible.
